And up, did you know that the fifth episode of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga would come out! I’m aware that you’ve been waiting for the fifth movie since 2011 and that you’ve lost hope now. You could not avoid it and you can not help seeing it, though it may be May and it’s too hot to go to the movies.
The film was directed by Joachim Ronning & Espen Sandberg this time with a daunting budget and in the first week end he has already raised $ 208,400,000 at the box office.
In short, despite Elizabeth and Will, characters interpreted by Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom respectively, have abandoned the ship in the third episode “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, the saga goes on.
The fourth episode “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” did not convince even the most faithful ones.
This time they come back, even for a fleeting cam. But the protagonist is eternally he Jack Sparrow, always played by devoted Johnny Deep, who is hunted by a crew of fearsome ghost sailors commanded by terrifying Captain Armando Salazar, escaped from the Devil Triangle and determined to kill every pirate at sea, including his enemy. The only hope for the latter is to find the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that gives the owner total control of the seas. To ruin the plans of the pirate appears exactly the son of Elizabeth and Will, worried about the father’s fate. Ultimately, producer Jerry Bruckheimer seems to have succeeded in resurrecting the saga and even collecting. The cast is amazing: together with Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush, who always plays Hector Barbossa, joined Javier Bardem, Armando Salazar the new arcinemic of Jack Sparrow, and Brenton Thwaites in the role of Henry Turner, Elizabeth’s son and Will Turner. Kaya Scodelario is Carina Smyth, a young and fascinating astronomer who, along with Harry, will be the protagonist of the new great love that supports the bottom-down storyline.
News of the new Paul McCartney who plays Uncle Jack. After Keith Richards, the baronet could not say no. As it told by the directors Joachim Roenning and Espen Sandberg: “We had written a scene for Keith. And because of planning problems, he would not be able to come to Australia to run, so we sat at the table with Johnny and we did a bit of brainstorming, like ‘Okay, who can take his place?’, Because it seemed right to do something. We had to honor the tradition of showing a member of Jack Sparrow’s family. And we made a very short list, and of course, there was Sir Paul McCartney on top of everyone”. To convince McCartney to say it seems to have been an SMS by Johnny Depp, who had the musician’s number. The two exchanged a series of messages that, according to the directors, have become increasingly “pirates” as the exchange proceeds.
So McCartney agreed to take part in the project, and his chameleon will remain in history. Something like “I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together”, if you know what I mean. Sir Paul interprets one of the pirates imprisoned in the same prison where he ends up being Jack Sparrow. Perpetually engaged in a game of cards, humming between himself and himself. He’s also called Jack Sparrow. The Uncle of Jack.
Well if this was not enough to convince you to go see the movie, you will be convinced that the sixth episode of the saga seems to be certain and contracted with Johnny Deep.
So, what are you going to do?
