Ok the 90s are back, we have taken them in full, and in Dior Homme, or rather Kris Van Assche.
He wanted them to celebrate in his HARDCORE collection, as I explained earlier, HARDIOR, is the celebration of the 10 years of the brand Homme by Maison Dior, birthday tastes anything but childish, has the flavor of those festivals that in the 90s has left a lot of people.
We, millennials grew up in the shadow of very acid evenings, made music Hardcore, in abandoned places where subcultures addicted to a musical genre, and in that days still anchored to politioche ideas projected in a dystopian past.
Now Kris, celebrates the carefree of the Gabber, with a lookbook video, shot in the back stage of the fashion show made in Paris last week, where brazen models based much hardocore presents HardDior collection, colorful, sassy and over-just like the 90s.
That Gabber, it is a subculture that has built around the techno music a world that absurdly far away from the network, has proliferated in a world of vintage technology, shamelessly projected in a world of lasers and fluorescent lights, with only the background generally less danceable, and harder than the human ear has heard until now.
Well Kris for Dior Homme it is succeeded in making glamor, that never could become glamor,, the gabber. And in the lookbook video we can see it.
